Welcome to the ECDA’s Process Blog!

What to Expect:

The Early Caribbean Digital Archive has been inspired by the suggestions of a few different scholars, including the wonderful people over at Colored Conventions Project, to start blogging about what we do here at the ECDA behind the scenes.

Our intentions with this blog are to make our decolonization process transparent (see more about that process here). This includes meditating on the questions we have, explaining the decisions we make, and working through the missteps we’ve taken over the week. Our goal is to take you along with us as we navigate our way through the archives of the Early Caribbean.

It is also intended to serve as a place where you can check in with what is new to our site, what we've been up to, calls for opportunities to collaborate with us, and more! We also hope that it can also be an interactive platform, we’d love to field questions from our Twitter, emails (info.ecdaproject@gmail.com), and in the comment section below.

We hope that you check-in with us weekly, new blog posts will be up each Thursday at noon!
