Abstract/Description
This embedded narrative of three anonymous men, identified as "Koromantyn Negroes," appears on pages 61-62 of volume two of Bryan Edwards' History, Civil, Commercial of the British West Indies (1793). Edwards relates the torture and murder of these enslaved men by colonial officials, who fought in Tacky's Rebellion in 1760.
