Abstract/Description
This embedded slave narrative relates the history of Sarri, referred to here as Adam, a young boy from the Congo of about fourteen years. Sarri's narrative appears on page 97 in volume two of Bryan Edwards' History, Civil, Commercial of the British West Indies (1793). Sarri relates his journey from the in-lands of Africa to his sale several times for various goods.
